Black Galaxy Granite Slabs for Floor Tiles and Countertops
Black Galaxy granite is a mostly black granite with small gold or white flecks. Galaxy granite is available in both slabs and tiles to allow for creative and coordinated installations.
The quality of this granite depends on the size, number and distribution of the golden flecks in the slabs or tiles. This granite is one of the most popular and demanded granite across the world.
This star galaxy granite is ideal for decorating baths, kitchen, drawing rooms, and outdoor structures in an effective manner.
This stone internationally may be nominated as a granite but in the area of application of the European Standard this stone must be nominated as a gabbro. The veining and colour can vary considerably and a small sample of Black Galaxy granite may not be representative of the whole slab therefore swatch samples must be approved for large projects to ensure that the blocks are all extracted from the same quarry face for matching purposes. During the polishing process a clear epoxy resin filler may be used to fill any micro fissures or tiny pitting however this does not affect the integrity of the stone, it merely provides an even smoother surface finish. Black Galaxy granite is suitable for both interior and exterior use futhermore is frost resistant and with a constant polish.

Q1: Is granite a natural stone?
A: Granite is a natural stone composed of several large mineral grains which are tightly packed. Because the major components of granite... feldspar and quartz... are harder than steel, granite has become a popular alternative to softer materials (plastic laminate, solid surface, etc.) for kitchen countertops.
Q2: How often should you reseal granite countertops?
A: If you use high quality impregnating sealers like DuPont Bulletproof sealer, you should have to reseal your granite every three years. If you use a cleaning liquid called Revitalizer also made by DuPont, you will not have to reseal your countertops ever.
Q3: Can granite countertops have seams?
A: Due to the limitations in granite slab size and/or the layout of your kitchen, many granite kitchen countertops have seams. In fact, placement of seams can be one of the most vexing parts of countertop planning. The answer is Yes and No.
